Abstract (referat) with an AI agent

In Kazakhstan and the CIS, an abstract (реферат) is a short paper that reviews and compares what different authors have written on a topic and ends with your own reasoned conclusions. It is not original research.

Pupils, college students and first-year university students are asked to write one most often, usually for a seminar or as a regular course assignment.

What it contains

Typical structure

  1. Title page
  2. Contents
  3. Introduction
  4. Section 1, with subsections 1.1–1.2 if needed
  5. Section 2
  6. Section 3 (optional)
  7. Conclusion
  8. References
  9. Appendices, only when needed

Length and format

An abstract is usually around 12–18 pages: an introduction and conclusion of about one to two pages each, and main sections of roughly 900–1,300 words.

The typical layout is A4, Times New Roman 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, margins of 30 mm left, 10 mm right and 20 mm top and bottom, with a 1.25 cm first-line indent. Many teachers expect around 8–15 sources, but requirements vary, so check your assignment.

How the AI agent helps

  1. Enter the topic and the discipline, and any required number of pages or sources.
  2. Attach textbooks, articles or your teacher's guidelines so the review is based on them first.
  3. The AI agent groups the material by task, compares authors' views and cites each borrowed idea.
  4. Download the DOCX, check every reference, and add your own conclusions and edits.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between an abstract and a report?

Here an abstract (referat) is a written literature review handed in as a document. A report (doklad) is written to be read aloud at a seminar and has shorter sentences and signposting for listeners.

Will the AI agent invent my university or teacher's name?

No. Any details you do not provide appear as bracketed placeholders, such as [University name], for you to fill in.

Which citation style is used?

The style set for the task. By default, Kazakh and Russian works use GOST 7.1-2003 and English works use APA 7.

Can I change the number of sections?

Yes. Describe the structure you need in step 2 or attach the requirements; they take priority over the defaults.

Is the abstract ready to hand in?

Treat it as a draft. Read the sources, verify the citations and rewrite parts in your own words before submitting.

Enter your topic and requirements, and get a structured abstract draft to review and refine.

The AI agent prepares a draft that you review, edit and finalize yourself; exact requirements depend on your school, university or teacher.
